Congratulations to Urban Next Summit presenter Brian Corrigan and his team at YesPleaseMore for being named one of the 2010 Mayor's Design Awards in Denver. YesPleaseMore supports Denver's creative economy through the sale of 100% Colorado-designed goods in pop-up stores that are also set up for co-working and networking. Proceeds from sales support grants for creative entrepreneurship.

The most recent store, which YesPleaseMore collaborated on with The Art Institute of Colorado's Environmental & Sustainable Design class, features eco-friendly products and fixtures designed with materials like reclaimed cardboard and plywood. The entire store was constructed for less than $1600. Denver's Ballet Nouveau performed at its opening. The 2010 Mayor's Design Awards celebration will take place in Denver on November 10th.
