The Value of Being Different

The Distinctive City is one of CEOs for Cities four key dimensions for urban success in today's economy, and our colleague Ned Hill of Cleveland State University is working to ensure that message is heard. Ned was featured in a recent editorial in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel on that city's strategy to take its inherent strength - small manufacturing - and leverage it for economic gain instead of adopting copy-cat economic development strategies.
