Ruin Porn, Foodsheds & Crowdsourcing (Oh My!)

Six emerging leaders have been selected from among more than 100 of their peers to present at the Urban Next Summit in San Francisco on September 20. Their presentations include titles such as “Ruin Porn and Building a Public Space: A Detroit Endeavor,” “Hungry Toronto: How Foodsheds Shape the City,” and “YesPleaseMore: A Denver Love Story.”
The presentations will occur on the first evening of the Urban Next Summit during a reception we’re calling Urban 20x20, our take on the Pecha Kucha 20x20. In keeping with the Pecha Kucha method, each presenter (or team) will have only ten minutes to both present and answer any questions.
The Urban Next Summit is a gathering of 100 brave new thinkers who are shaping the future of America in cities throughout the U.S. Over 36 hours we will engage in strategic visioning about how to chart a smart future and a new American Dream.
