Plan NYC: A Vision for 2030

With New York’s population is expected to grow by one million in two decades, Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg has been working to get citizens to imagine the impact growth will have on the city. Plan NYC is a dramatic provocation (and a nice visualization) of what NYC can look forward to and options for altering the future.

On Sunday Mayor Bloomberg is expected to make a major speech, which aides are describing as the "centerpiece of his final 32 months in office." The speech will outline his vision for the city over the next quarter century while reducing the strain on natural resources like water, clean air and land.
