CEOs for Cities is a national network of urban leaders dedicated to building and sustaining the next generation of great American cities.

That was the verdict on my family's production of carbon, according to a new online survey from the Ad Council's new campaign, "Fight Global Warming." The online survey has only eight quick questions about the type of home you occupy, your car use, where you live and your plane use. (It was the last one that produced such a terrible rating for me. And I don't even own a car.)

A summary of the results reminded me that my household "could release about the same amount of carbon pollution by cutting and burning all the trees in a section of the Amazon rainforest the size of 4.7 football fields."

Depressing, but valuable to know.
