CEOs for Cities is a national network of urban leaders dedicated to building and sustaining the next generation of great American cities.

Kudos to Chicago Transit Authority.  CTA invited citizens to "adopt a station," and they responded by painting L stations.  Bryn Mawr and Granville on the Red Line got the makeovers.  Let's hope we see lots more of this as city budgets continue to be pinched in these tough times.  How many other ways can citizens contribute their time and talent to make their cities more livable?
