CEOs for Cities is a national network of urban leaders dedicated to building and sustaining the next generation of great American cities.

The Washington Post has the story we weren't supposed to discuss.  Monday the White House convenes a meeting to push forward on a national urban policy agenda.  White House Office of Urban Affairs Director Adolfo Carrion promises a "bottom up" approach to help for cities. Not clear is how the metro (vs. city) agenda is pressed and how (and whether) money flows to local governments.  More from the meeting tomorrow.

Now how did all those people keep this secret? Please post. Some of us didn't get invited!

I would love to hear more about what comes out of the meeting. Some news outlets have picked up on it, but seem to be sparse on details. They mention a tour by Director Carrion to various cities across the country, might you know of (or be able to share) any further details? It certainly would interesting to connect this outreach to the Talent Dividend conversation you all are having.
