Why would you do this to a city's riverfront? This is why cities continue to tear down these expressway barriers to their waterfronts. Louisville, sadly, is still stuck with this mess.

Thankfully, we're getting close to tearing down our concrete monstrosity in Seattle and replacing it with a tunnel. http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/projects/Viaduct/

Who wouldn't want to see this as a view from their condo or hotel room? I wish Louisville was a little more forward thinking, but thankfully we have a group of people pushing for the removal of the interstate: www.8664.org
