Power Philanthropy
November 18, 2008
Posted by: Carol
The Columbus Foundation, led by Doug Kridler, has come up with a powerful way to motivate more people to donate funds to that city's nonprofits.
Doug calls it PowerPhilanthropy Match Day 2.0 and the plan is to raise $1 million in just 48 hours. The foundation has created a searchable database of local nonprofits and programs, with in-depth analysis of programs, finances, management and services.
Match Day 2.0 begins tomorrow and continues through Wednesday.
