How's this for a clever way to bring people together, while at the same time making it easier to choose bicycling as a way to get around?  The fantastic premise behind this elegant design is to get people to interact while securing and servicing their bikes.  I think a few of these dotted around any city would make a subtle but important statement about priorities.  Click here for the website.

What a great idea. Often when I take my bike out I'll need to put air in the tires and then we basically have to ride in one direction. Whereas with a simple cheap amenity like this sprinkled around town biking would be easier for everyone.
