I do.  I love to dance, and I love to watch others dance.  I unexpectedly got more than half a loaf today.  Matt Harding was my guest on "Smart City."  While Matt doesn't consider himself a "dancer," indeed, he dances with great joy and in hundreds of locations, all of which he has documented on video and loaded onto his web site.

Unrelated to the interview (I think), I used an afternoon break to scout out a wonderful dancewear store hidden on a second floor on Wabash in Chicago's Loop.  I walked out with two pairs of dance shoes, intended for use at SummerDance.

And tonight, I (again unintentionally) ended my walk by the river and the lake in my favorite place, Lurie Garden in Millennium Park (lovely and still on a midsummer night).  The music coming from the Pritzker Pavilion lured me over, and I ran right into a glorious tap festival.  The Chicago Human Rhythm Project was staging Rhythm World with tap dancers from Beijing, Tokyo, Boston, Sao Paolo, Barcelona, San Antonio, D.C., NYC, Raleigh/Durham, and, of course, Chicago.  It was beautiful, fun, joyful, and jammed.

There may be a better neighborhood somewhere, but someone will have to show it to me.
