Recalling the Democratic Convention in 1968, conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh called for riots at this year's convention in Denver. I wonder what Rush would do if, indeed, his words provoked action. Let's see... since cities and the metro areas they anchor generate 80 percent of our nation’s employment, 80+ percent of our GNP and produce 86 percent of our tax revenue, if he destroys our cities, he and his listeners are going to be flat out of luck (and economic opportunity). What a completely dumb, destructive way to make a political point.
