Portland and "green" stars like Leonardo DiCaprio and Al Gore have a lot in common these days - they're getting tons of attention for what they are doing to save the planet. Written tongue-in-cheek, the piece reflects on the burden of being a celebrity city and model for urban planners everywhere. Given the pay off - money saved, talent attracted, oh, and curbing global warming - it's a problem every city is green with envy to have.
